Crysis very high setting in XP

The hack you are talking about is the Alky Project.
Its been out for a while now and it seems to be working according to some people.
I`m not sure if they have abandoned the project though because I really would want to dump Vista and run XP with DX10...

Got in a multi player match tonight. (After purchasing a SECOND copy for my son and I to play together.)

Biggest disappointment in a game for me in a long time.
You have to BUY weapons?? And ammo?? And weapon accessories??
What good is a sniper rifle without a damn scope?
And apparently you can only purchase at respawn??

There is no free for all mode??
No campaign co-op play??

I hope somebody can tell me I'm wrong.
Hell I don't even care to finish the single player mode now.

But hey .... it's still pretty even in multi player!

Figured I'd update the latest.
There IS a FFA mode. (Yea I feel stupid now. )
And you don't have to buy squat!
Just run around picking up weapons and kill people!

Hell I even built a dedicated server for it last night.

i think the multiplayer is horrible. i went over to a friends to check it out before i bought the game.. yup its bad.

I can't even run at High settings to a degree of play that is acceptable to me. All settings on high puts me about 22-25fps. All medium makes it a little better...35 or so. With all medium and water, sound and particle quality on low it runs around around 55-60, unless I cloak (80% of time) and it takes a 5-10fps hit.

I haven't updated my drivers in a while, so I'm hoping that will help me get back to high settings.

From what i have noticed running my Crap box, that if you turn shadows off in games i get like and extra 20 fps and in games like battlefield 2 it gives me an upper hand!!

They can't even get Crysis to avg 40FPS+ with triple SLI.

Turning object quality to low really helps with FPS too.
