battlefield 2142 offline

I understand that an internet connection is required for installing the game, but is it like the booster packs for battlefield 2 where you have to log into an account to play those maps?

My concern is that I can't log into the internet every time I want to play single player.

i used to play BF2142 non stop - but i logged in everytime so i am not sure if you have to be connected to play single player. I have a feeling you do.

the game can work in offline mode

the booster pack is online only (still go into offline mode but you not be able to use any bosterpack maps)

hey vica,
you don't need to be online. I've played the game for a while. When I log online my stats stay. When I log on single player without online your stats are like you just played the game for the first time. It doesn't seem to let you use any unlocks or level up.. To me it sucks like you don't accomplish anything.

I just enjoy the skirmishes. I bought the whole 1942 set with all 4 games at Best Buy for $10, that should keep me busy for a bit, I just have to find some bots!

It might just be me but, in that 1942 game with the expansions I got that too since its something different. But, I can't ever seem to find enemies. They seem to always be fighting somewhere else
