I hate incremental patches... but that is probably based on experience with Battlefield 2. EVERY time I would install an incremental, I would have issues and have to reinstall using the full patch (500+mb). No problems with 1.4-1.5 yet, but at the small size of the 1.4 I'd rather have the full patch.

tbh, 1.5 patch does nothing for people that dont really use mods, and there aren't that many good mods out right now for COD4 IMO (if there are, pray tell. new skins?).

I just want performance optimizations.

Great Game but you lose the ability to play on 1.4 servers. Until they upgrade anyways. Hmmm. I dunno seems odd to me but I guess that's the nature of these updates.

I believe there were some weapon equalizations that weren't mentioned in the patch notes. The shot guns and a couple of the assault rifles seem a bit weaker than before, but maybe it's just me. Never took me 3 blasts with a shotty to take down anyone before.

I finally broke down and bought this game.... HOLY EXPLITIVE BATMAN!

Better than Crysis, and almost looks as pretty! This game is the most intense game I have ever played. I was afraid the respawning enemies would hinder the gameplay, but it just makes it more intense.

I haven't made it to the end of the game, but I just beat Prypiat, and the level after it. I know I am close, but when I beat it, I will knock the difficulty up, and play again.

There were people who said the multiplayer was the only saving grace since the single player was so short. I agree, short campaigns are kinda crappy, but there is intelligence to gather, difficulty to raise, and special effects to watch!

I should have bought this 2 months ago.

I still haven't beaten it though, I am a couple levels short I think.
