Welp just like the title says - Does anyone have a rundown of what settings they use with a 8800GT (stock 600/900, but did OC it to 702/1000 - mem went a bit crazy once in a great while so I would have to lower that a bit, but I think I can oc the gpu even more than that!).
I have tried everything at the highest with AA off and stock it was giving me 33fps average, 60max and 17.3min. That was using the built in test in COH. I was worried about the 17.3 once I would start getting more items on the screen.

My OC isnt stable, I was just playing around - cant believe it actually ran through the performance test 2 out of 3 times without crashing
I am just curious if the average is 30 or above if the game will play well enough even in intense situations

I hate to try it and then end up getting a jerky screen and croaking due to the graphics being too high. auto settings do a 48.1 average 61max and a 5.6 low - 5.6..lol - must have ben a glitch

Forgot
I am running at 1680X1050 resolution.
Does it really make a difference if I run at a lower res than my monitors top res? I know at 800X600 it would be really noticable, but what about a step or 2 lower than I have it set to?
Mike
I think taht would make the fps come up. I might test that now

With DX10 shadows I had an average of 30, minimum of 5 or 6 fps. my CPU is holding me back.
I turned the shadows to high instead of DX10 and got an average of 60fps, and a minimum of 23 fps.
I ran it on my CRT at 1280x1028, and on my HDTV at 1280x720, same results pretty much. I did try playing a campaign level with DX10 shadows on and it was a slideshow. I don't think the benchmarking tool is a very good way to tell how you will do in-game. Try out a large map and angle your camera so you can look out at the entire thing at once. That will be a better test.
