GameCube successor to use WiFi

Before I get into this does anyone here even own/play a GameCube? If anyone actually owns one please post because 99.999% of all my friends own PS2's and the Gates-X. Anyway looks like the next gen Nintendo will have wifi from the factory. I don't think that this will impact the PS2 and Xbox 2 at all.
