Well i still have not gotten totaly with the times but i did download the demo and play for about an hour and a half. All i can say is that ID made a deal with satan to get up close and personal with hell for that game. I was freaked beyond belive and if i had a real gun there would be some shadows in my room with bullet holes through them. Shees what a game, next is the halflife demo and then farcry. Figure if i got a kick ass video card i might as well put it to some use.

My vote is still with Far Cry... can't wait for Far Cry 2 to come out!

I honestly thought Doom 3 was awesome the first couple of hours I played it...but it got repetitive real quick....I don't play it anymore, only using it for benchmarking. Far cry is awesome, I still play the hell out of it.
I have recently become totally addicted to CS:Source, playing for hours on end......and I have to admit that i have never played HL 2, its installed, just never played it. To top that off, my wife got me Rome: Total War for Christmas along with HL2...and I still haven't even played it.....and its supposed to be one of the best games avaialbe.

Yeah after playing some of the HL2 Demo i dont think Doom3 can hold a candle to it. The phisics graphices and game play were really good in HL2. And the best part was i could run it at 1920x1200 widescreen res and i will tell you when the res is that high you dont need all the eye candy on because the pixles are so small.
