CoD 4 Can't Launch Single Player

Post by geokilla »

My cousin wanted to play CoD4 so I installed the game for him to play. Now we tried to play single player but the game refuses to start. When I try to launch single player, it shows:

I read online that many people, both pirated and legit CoD 4 players have this problem. Now mine's legit so I have no idea why it refuses to work. I've already uninstalled, run CCleaner, then reinstalled CoD 4 along with all the available patches.

Help guys. I have no idea how to fix this.

Yep. All of my drives are IDE except for my hard drive, which is SATA.

I had a ripped copy before. I ripped it using DVD Decrypter, then mounted it using Nero 6 image drive. It still shows the same thing...

Thanks. The No-CD/DVD crack worked. Now I just have to ask my friend if I can play multiplayer when he's not playing it :finga:

NoCD cracks are in that legal 'grey area' so we really can't provide a link but they are really easy to find...

Yes, only use no-cd cracks if you are really lazy and don't want to load your legally purchased discs into your DVD drive every time you want to play a different game.

Too bad piracy has to ruin everything for us honest people.
