Does anyone believe Blizzard?

I think that is a load of crap. They are milking every drop they can from the Starcraft cow. From what I have read I think I'll just have to wait till all three are out and discounted to the price of a single game before I consider purchasing it.

I understand why they are doing that, but it sure seems they are milking it a bit too hard... Also wouldn't this force the purchase of all 3 volumes to play on multiplayer? If that is the case it is an epic failure.

I see no problem in it. They are a buisness and bottom line is they are supposed to make money... People dont have to buy their product.

to play multiplayer u just need to purchase one of them. Also i heard the campaigns are around 30ish for each race thats a huge jump from the sc but then again i dont want to have pay 3 times

Maybe each game will be cheaper. I don't see a huge change between the old and new SC anyway. New units, and a bit better visuals... Not much else.

Don't fix it if it ain't broke :P

Maybe they're not doing it strictly for money, but it certainly one of the explanations

Campaigns are HUGE for single player, but i hope they put the price at something lower than a $40 or $50 game that you have to buy 3 of! Maybe $19.99 each, that would be good I think.

Mike

If they charge for online play it will be an epic failure also, but I never even played my original Starcraft warchest thing online, so it probably wont effect me.

I am not sure the customer comes first in any company. - it might be portrayed that way. But in the end if it effects the bottom line the customer is the one who takes the shaft.

There are limits to them doing this, honestly- I never liked single player campaigns. Multiplayer was where the fun is at. An expansion of starcraft is different from that of diablo or wow, some units and maps don't significantly make gameplay any better for me- adding some characters and a whole new level is different though.

I was never big on RTS games. Of course they milk their products, but they tend to create pretty damn good products and if they continue to make awesome games they can profit all they want, way better than EA releasing the same sports game every year and milking that, right? It's good business.

Anyway, I thought warcraft III majorly sucked (I did enjoy dota for awhile but that hardly justifies the whole game), they haven't proved other than graphically how starcraft II will be better. I don't really care if they want to bankrupt the Korean community :finga:

Wrath is a more exciting release. They can milk us every month for that quality of game-play.

I don't see why this would be a problem. Whether it gets released as a trilogy or not its about the the business and money for them.

From everything I have read you have to have the expansions if you want to play the other races. As for 30 missions? BAH that is bull. I'm betting most of them can be blown through in 10 minutes or less with two or three that will be VERY frustrating do to an unreasonable imbalance between resources, time and cheating computer opponents.

I agree that they are abusing there power a little much but they better make up for it with some epic single player campaigns

Epic? How about never before seen depth and quality as to be peerless not likely to ever be achieved again in our lifetimes. Then maybe I'll go for it.
