The drawing was held last night, and the winner has been picked, I guess Nate didn't get the winner's name so I just resent it to him.
A very scientific procedure was used.
I printed all 20 entrants on pieces of paper about the size of dollar bills. In groups of five I put them on the floor and placed a potato chip on each.....my dog Mars then ate a chip, whichever chip he ate, that person was the winner of that group. After all four groups I was left with one last group of four, and I did the same thing again...so my dog, and his love of potato chips actually decided who won the contest. It was totally random, and not the same chip was eaten every time.
The winner is......................

I am glad it wasn't me. I didn't deserve it.

I still have to ask: I made a post saying that i wanted my name taken out, and audiophile posted trying to talk me out of it. Why was it deleted?

Is your dog named Dorito by chance? Or maybe Nacho?

I'm thinking this process my replacing voting booths in the near future.

No your name was not deleted.....everyone makes mistakes, everyone says or does something a little over the line, including me. It wouldn't be fair to do that.

I think how the winner was picked was great:

Rich:

I printed everyones name on pieces of paper, set them on the floor in groups of 5. I then put a potato chip on each name, Mars picked one, then after all 5 groups I had one last group of four, Mars picked the winner....audiophile. Whichever chip he ate first was the winner of each group....it was funny because he didn't eat the same chip every time

Who said Legit Reviews does anything the normal way!!

the sad thing is mars and i are about the same size... when your friends dog weighs as much as you do, its hard to not feel small.

Mars was our wedding present from my father, who breeds and trains sheppards for law enforcement, and also does a lot of drug detection work. At first my wife wasn't keen on having a dog, but he grew on her, and after more than seven years they are inseperable....he is definitely our baby.
Mars is the best animal I've ever had, even when he decides to help himself to thanksgiving dinner and eat an entire 15 lb turkey by himself in under 30 minutes (I would have probably killed him if he hadn't been so sick). He is terrified of vacuum cleaners, and water hoses, not because he gets beat or anything, but because he doesn't want to get wet)....but the funny part is, if you squirt him with a hose he freaks out, but we have to yell at him to get him out of our pool, where he will sit 5-8 hours at a time.
My dog truly is pathetic.....but if food is involved he is always willing to help Legit reviews in a pinch.
