I bought, I like it. The dogs can be annoying unless you are the one calling them :) If you get it let me know maybe we can get together one night and try the co-op...

I enjoyed the MP beta a lot... but can't afford to pick up the full game right now. I will probably grab it in a couple weeks when my wife gets paid.

I think it's another great game of the Call of Duty series. It's like a CoD 4 transported into the second world war with the great athmosphere and just as good as CoD 4. In Multiplayer there finally are vehicles :D and there are more ranks than in CoD 4.

It's good but once you unlock some of the higher weapons it can get boring and repetitive. Especially when you're not very good at the game.

It's a pretty solid game though. I'm deciding to give Fallout 3 a go or just resign my gaming to wrath.

I have found that it is much easier to deal with the dogs using the knife than trying to shoot them.....

I have limited time in it so far, but I'd like more squad play: something like the battlefield series. I might be mistaken, because I didn't play all the game modes, but there didn't seem to be much team work going on.

yeah... in the beta, it showed a squad listing. I don't have the game, and forgot to ask my guys about it. Would be more interesting, to me anyway, if you could squad up like in the BF games.

I liked it in BF because it made it easier to identify "your guys" on the mini map. That way, if you die/respawn you can more easily join your squad again.

Really, I wonder if I can buy this once and my brother and I can play it together on the home LAN.

I'd love to play with him, we shoot paintball together (Woodsball).

After putting more hours into playing, it is beginning to grow on me. There's something to be said for fast-twitch gaming action. It nearly reminds me of the Red Orchestra Mod for UT2k4. Some of the game modes are fun. I can definitely see myself playing this for a month or two more.

Is the single player as fun as the single player in CoD4?

I found the single player to be even shorter than in COD4, but I found more situations where things were far more intense, which added to the enjoyment. I beat the game in 4.5 hours on level 2 (can't remember what it's called) vs 6 hours for COD4 on the same difficulty.

I won't ruin it for anyone, but if you liked the AC-130 mission in COD4, you'll LOVE World at War.
