I don't really find that any Steam game stresses any card I play them on. I'd definitely pick up Crysis or Crysis Warhead if you are really interested in testing the new card.

Not for an ATI 4670 card, at least in my mind anyway

Maybe since I don't play games online I don't see what is so great about Left4Dead (yes I own it). After my bout of addiction with Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Rainbow 6 Raven Shield I told myself that any online gaming would be very casual.

online coop makes L4D, it's all about the working together to survive that makes it so fun, if you're playing on your own with bots, you just lose that and i can see why it'd not be fun.

I just finally broke down and bought GTA IV. The newest update fixed a bunch of issues with texture loading and such.

I fired up the game without updating, and I saw no textures except the characters. I turned off the game, updated to 1.0.3.0, and everything works great.

It is still a resourse hog, but if you have more than 512MB of vram you should do just fine.

It takes an obscenely long time to load for me too, but so did San Andreas, and Vice city. Oh well, I can just load up the game and watch some TV until I get to play.
