teh TF2 update[RANT]

so who else that plays is angry at valve about the update in general?

1. The domination 'Medals' in the game status menu(when you press tab in-game) fail to work properly(dont register the right amount of dominations usually)
2. why use symbols for what classes teammates are playing, is valve aiming this game at people that arent old enough to read?
3. upgrade random 'drop' system: what do i have to say about this other than it is horrid, i have 10 pyro weapons, and no sniper weapons
4. mandatory crosshair for no-scope: really stupid, it had the option and should have left it at that, i HATE the crosshair, FIRST of all, its the spy's magnum xhair, not an original one, secondly, it majorly obstructs your view when scoped
5. the lag-duh, all the servers go to cr@p every time there is a major update, between bugs and the thousands of people downloading TF2 for the free/cheap weekend

current list of unlocks here and hours played as class, under suspicion of getting weapons for least played classes
Medic-250hrs: all 3 unlocks, none unlocked in the past year
Sniper-240hrs: 0 unlocks, played ~20 hours since update AS sniper
Heavy-80hrs: 3 KGB, 3 Sanvich, 1 natascha
Scout-60hrs: 2 Bonk, 2 force-a-nature, 3 sandman
Spy-26hrs: 1 ambassador, 1 Cloak and Dagger
Pyro-25hrs: 5 Axtinguisher, 2 flaregun, 3 backburner

Yeah, I think it is terrible how they forced players to just sit idle to get the unlocks. It makes for some unbalanced teams when they do that in a regular server rather than an acheivements_idle server.

I haven't gotten a one of the new items yet, but a couple of repeats of some of the old ones. I have been playing less now that my fiancee has moved in with me.

That is my only gripe. Maybe they should have taken out the console command that gives you free acheivements, and made it so you can get random items at intervals, and get items through acheivements like before.
