Hello, Registration is now open for our next event. Details are below, and a lot MORE details are at http://www.lacledeslan.com. Come and join the pre-party!
Saturday August 13th, 11AM - 11PM.
85 seats available.
Tournaments in CS: Source and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch.
CS: Source Tournament will be $5.00 per entrant, just like last time. Winner gets the pot, second place gets their fiver back. And yes... first place gets the famed Half-Life ice cream cake courtesy of Baskin Robbins.
HL2 DM Tournament is FREE to enter, winner gets Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC4000 (DDR500) 1GB memory kit (2 x 512MB).
We are working on compiling a door prize list. Rest assured that there will be at least $500 in miscellaneous prizes including the HL2 tournament RAM, probably more. We will be posting a list of prizes as soon as we have a better idea of the full collection.
Same as always, BBQ and lots of punch and lemonade included in admission, $5.00 pizzas later in the day.
Console Corner will include DDR, Mario Kart, Smash Bros. Melee, etc.
Planned Game Servers:
Unreal Tournament 2004
Battlefield 2 (Dedicated Dual-CPU Server for up to 64 players)
Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
Counter-Strike: Source (2 servers)
We will also feature a new custom-designed LAN server browser (lists all running servers, even non-staff ones).
Again, go to http://www.lacledeslan.com/ for all the latest announcements and pre-LAN fun.

ok update times:
we will be offering Spontaneous Tournaments
Spontaneous Tournaments is a tournament that is exactly that, it is started spontaneously during the event, it is not a scheduled tournament and It can be any game with any rules that players want to have. All that needs to be done is an attendee to come up to the admin tables and say "I want (insert game name here) tournament", and we will set you up with a tournament for that game and do an announcement.
Furthermore, throughout the event the staff will announce a Random Tournament for an announced door prize. Our random tournaments will be short and sweet and may very well include games featured in our console corner.
Example Tournaments:
