Is WoW coming to an end? 3.2 woes

I'm a long time WoW player and it seems to me that the game will be nearing the end with Icecrown Citadel and Arthas, in spite of blues asserting there is much more to the story outside of Arthas left to be told. Months back, Tigole, one of the lead designers, left to work on an unannounced MMO from Blizzard that will be an entirely new franchise. It seems like the current designers are strained, and Wrath of the Lich King has been heavily plagued with problems from class balancing issues that were made complicated with Death Knights and Arenas.
My guild completed Ulduar, and are working on hard modes though to be honest they're not that interesting to me. Sure, they have better gear but the gear will be replaced by the next tier that will be coming out in a few weeks hopefully. However, when I say the designers are strained, the 3.2 content patch thus far has been extremely disappointing for most players.
Tier 9 gear is not class-specific, but is a generic model that is the same for each type (cloth, mail, leather, plate) that varies between faction Horde/Alliance. So, mages/warlocks/priests in the same faction will look exactly the same in tier 9 gear. This added to the fact that tier 7 gear was a copy/paste of tier 3 gear with updated stats, shows the lack of design going into the new content. Also the tier 9 set bonuses are terrible.
Apparently the new raid instance is extremely easy and seems like waves of trash that are aoe-able. Nothing impressive at all about it, where Ulduar was far better designed.
Resilience is being redesigned to effectively nerf burst damage in PVP, this will make arena games long and more of an outlasting match that gets very annoying and tiring after time. This is less of a problem in 3's and 5's, which aren't as popular as 2's, but are now necessary in order to get the best arena gear. The new battleground is probably the best addition, but I can't help but feel it is just a cross between wintergrasp and alterac valley.
The game design and balancing has progressively gotten worse, though Blizzard denies this, and most of the changes they make are to band-aid existing problems rather than adding to the game. They said Death Knights were the first of hero classes, but it seems like it would be impossible for them to add another class and balance them for arena without destroying PVP even more.
Anyone else still play or quit recently?
