Darkest of Days - Like Time Cop...

Post by Major_A »

But hopefully it won't suck like Time Cop. I've never heard of the game until this morning and I'm looking forward to it.

It's been in development for years. It was supposed to be out last year if I remember correctly.

It's okay... I have a copy of the game that I've been playing for a couple weeks.

I played the demo and it shows (graphically) that it has been in development quite awhile. From what I played in the demo at least the gameplay seems fun. It's a lot like the CoD series where there is never a lull in action.

Was supposed to be pretty originally. That's sad. :(

Maybe? I only played the demo. It could be an unlockable move in the real game.

Just finished the demo.

It seems rather unfair to give the player an assault rifle when the enemy has muskets.

I do like this part in the video:

"You can use the c07 shotgun for... Everything. It's a shotgun."

The c07 Shotgun:
-It's a Shotgun.

The demo seemed like an interesting idea but the animations and models seemed poorly done. Also i've played games that look much better and run much better on my PC then this game. Its engine is poorly optimized. Its almost like they built their engine a few years ago and then just kept upping the polycount to try and keep its looks current.

The game only had three levels, I thought there would be more time jumping. I hated picking the Civil War fighting because the guns suck. I got to use the rocket launcher once. The graphics didn't look that great yet with my system in my sig I was averaging 35 FPS at 1680x1050. The story made little sense to me (overall it made sense) but the person we were looking for made little sense. The story/game was very short, maybe 5 hours of gameplay.
