I just checked my Battle.net account (where you can manage all your Blizzard games) and I somehow I got "SCII Beta" on my list. I didn't receive any special e-mail from Blizzard, so I was wondering if beta is available to everybody who registered.

Nope. I have wanted to try it from day 1 and still have not gotten a beta invite/key.

Phase 2 of the beta is closing today. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to get invited but I'm still getting the game on release day. Anyone else here getting StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty come July 27?

Oh seriously? I was just about to try out SC2 using my friend's account today! lol

I'll probably buy it if there's a good price! Hopefully they don't make any insane cracking protection that's a pain in the butt even for legitimate buyers.

I received an email from Blizz the other day with a key for the Beta. Got it downloaded on 2 machines but haven't had a chance to play on either yet. Maybe tomorrow.
