Yeah saw that and damn i want to get that game, i was impressed by farcry already but it looks like the updates they are doing on the next generation addresses all the things i dont like about the current engine.

Did you see the crytek/ati demo? That looked cool too..

I love Crytek's engine... or @ least what I have seen from Far Cry, this and that demo... We need more color and contrast in games.... Too many games are dark.. Doom3, Fear and such

And I tought my x800 would last for a while... sigh

Mayby santa will be good to me.. ;)

we can only hope, the thing i like the most about the next version is the enviorment. I have been really unhappy with how plants worked in Farcry, rather than move out of the way as you move through them they just dissappear or block out your whole screen.

It will mean you will need a seriously kick a** system to run it will all options on and AA/AF too... (at 1600x1200)

If I can see an option in the game that says "high" then I see "higher" and then "Ultra High" -> guess what I select...

My wallet just can't take no more...

I can't wait ;)

yeah im going to have go find some 3rd job or something to get a new card but im ok with that. Its such a good game.

try videolan, it has its own codecs so u dont need to download anything. Ultimetly you could get the k-lite codec pack for eskedes
