I got the demo with the latest edition of PC Gamer (I think that was the mag). I haven't had the chance to give it a go but I will soon.

Looks like I'll have to wait and see what you guys say about it....

Game runs just fine for me and I don't have exactly the best video card. Its a demo so just give it a try. Get it from 3d gamers that was the fastest with the shortest line to wait. Your monitor has to do 4:3 if its just a regular CRT. I dunno about the GF2 video and 256mb ram. give the lowest game settings a try. Also set it to force DX8.0 and you might be able to play it.

Min specs say GForce 4 Ti and or Radeon 9000 -> they are DX8 cards... Does it have support for DX7 ? Just don't want you waisting the time downloading ~600Mb for nothing!

I did not see DX7 support, but I did see the option to force DX8 over DX9. I will test this demo on another system tonight for everyone with lower end systems. The system specs are below.

AMD Athlon 2500+ Mobile XP @ 2700MHz (13x207 , 1.95v)
Maxtor 120GB (IDE)
512mb Crucial PC-2700 DDR333 (2.5-2-2-5, 2.7v)
Abit NF7 (Rev. 2.0)
Gainward GeForce 3 Ti200 (240/540)

I will let everyone know how it goes.

Well I just tested on the system above and it is in no way playable at all. Its more like a slide show of just pictures. This is running with everything possibly on low and 640X480. After a few tests I honestly don't think this will be playing on the Geforce 4 cards or the lower ATI cards. I believe 9500pro or higher is what you need to be able to play this.

It ran somwhat slow on my system as well with a 3500+ Winchester 1GB RAM and a Radeon X800 PRO vid card. Looked very nice though. Sometimes demos don't run as smooth as the finished product so we'll see. It was fun but a short demo.

if a demo is good- it allways feels too short
