Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options v1.4 *Updated v1.7*

I saw this posted over at [H]ard|OCP but the link I guess is getting hammered. I couldn't connect to the forum where this is uploaded to save my life. I did find a working link in the Steam forums and uploaded the file to some file sharing/cloud sites.

Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options Version 1.4 Readme
Instructions
1. Once you have unziped place anywhere you want.
2. Delete any autoexec.cfg files found in the Crysis 2 root folder. (if you're asking what that is, don't worry about it)
3. Delete any target commands you may have put on the shortcut as they will override the autoexec.cfg that is created
4. Run the Crysis2AdvancedGraphicsOptions.exe
5. Hit apply once all settings are set
6. If no settings are applied, try running the program in administrator mode.
*note* You do not have to start this program every time you want to play Crysis 2.
This will work with any shortcut you make with Crysis 2. All this program does is create the autoexec.cfg
that Crysis 2 will use on startup.

*motion blur should now disable when set to disabled
*fixed some minor bugs

*added ability to change to preset low, medium, high

*added an option to toggle crouch
*should save a small ini file to eliminate repeated selecting of file locations
*displays root folder of Crysis 2 (so you know if you're on the right spot)

Thanx will give it a shot and see how it changes things. I personally hate that damn motion blur crap.

Crytek should have included a advanced graphic settings I will agree with ya on that one. And this little tool is rather nice I can max out the primary settings and turn off motion blur and get a whole lot better frame rates. where as before I had to use a gamer or high setting in game becaus emotion blur kills the performance of my machine. Plus they over do motion blur anyways.

I definitely like the toggle crouch and aim.
So far the default controls seem stupid, c to crouch and v to melee. The problem is sometimes you have to sneak up on somebody and c and v aren't that easy to hit together without the toggle.
With all the settings on high minus SSAO, blur and AA at 1680x1050 the game is very playable. I haven't got very far so I can't speak about the storyline.
One thing that aggravates me about games now is the achievement crap. In Crysis you had a silencer for your pistol from the get-go. Now I guess I have to unlock it with everything else.

the silencer comes into play fairly quickly in the game theres no "achievement" to be done (at least from what I can tell) It is like Crysis where you have to pick up a weapon with that attached so you can use it. The crouch was already toggled, the toggling aiming portion has come in handy in some situations, but I tend to like the hold it down especially for online gaming.

Been on Techpowerup for a few days now. Though the packs are worthless without the v1.9 update.
The published sizes are wrong, combined the updates are roughly 1.2GB.

I updated Cysis 2 to 1.8 and it was all kinds of goofy.....

When I tried to apply the updates it told me flat out I needed to have v1.9 installed. Then it aborted the install.

Crysis 2 will automatically update to 1.9 now. so get it while it is hot.....
