BF2 Login Help

I guess with the release of BF3 I got the itch to play. I recently installed BF2 after years. Problem is I can't remember my login password. The game sent me to Gamespy to change my password. I did there and nothing. I know what email I used to create the account, Hell I even remember my username. At this point I'm stuck. According to EA's awesome (that's sarcasm) forums I need to just create a new account. Problem there is I lose the guns I gained.

i had the same problem and when it tries to log you in it can't remember the password i saved as remember password so been in the same boat as you until you brought this thread up so heres the fix

when click on the forgot password in game and it opens the gamespy id site type in your email and then it will send you your password to your email and all is done
