why ? cause the cs:s skins are no good... i love my imported skins with the new sounds and animations... my dual pistols, when i reload em... the guy flips em. its insane. the only reason why i wanna remove is because i tried to import and overwerite alread yimported skins and now a couple of guns got messed up. like they have purple/black boxes on em instead of colors.

once i can reset all skins to default i would reinstall the skins only this time i would install one per gun, and the ones i like.

Assuming that the skins aren't a GCF, just backup your cfg files and delete the source folder. Steam will recreate the files for you when you restart it (and since the the actual game is basically in the gcf files, you won't have much to download).

Valve's method of packing game information basically. It's how you can have multiple Steam accounts on the same PC (with the same games), but only have one copy of each game on the computer. Your GCF files are in the <somwhere on your pc>\Steam\SteamApps\ directory
