ok just got this in a email... This just makes me want this game more, I think its time to start planing upgades. (well for me anyway)

is this a render from the new DX10 Cry engine? god i love thoes boys FarCry is still one of the best FPS i have played.

I saw the E3 footage and wow Crysis looks damn good.

yeah im not much for preorder... but i loved FarCry soo much and this looks spectacular....

It does look great, but isn't it DX10 ?
I dunno if any of the current cards will give pic quality like that.....

If they make it, with FarCry gameplay and those GFX

Worth (yet) another GFX card upgrade IMO

if people would ever listen to me they could save a pile of $$ on graphics cards and still play new games. I went from $200 X800GTO2 that OCed to a X850XTPE to a $200 X1800XL 512mb that with a bios ulock turns into a X1800XT 512mb.... and my old card is still worth ~$100.... I will do the same thing when DX10 cards, and more importantly games hit the market. i get high end gameing for ~100-200 a year, no need to spend 500-1000 on SLI crossfire.

I'll be getting FZ1's Opty soon......the "spare" rig will be based around this 4400......i might even get another hi-end board for it..........When DX10 matures I can sell the "spare" along with this x1900 for plenty of $$ and get some sweet gfx........

Too bad to get it looking that could you need DX10 as I think it is.

Which means you need Vista, and a beast of a machine.

I won't be upgrading until Q2 or Q3 of next year or whenever the first Vista SP is out.

This is about the same as those guys who open the latest issue of their favorite hot rod magazine and start drooling over the photos of the 2009 Camaro concept car. (like me)

Anyone else think it will look quite differently by the time it's released? Like Oblivion for instance. While still crazy-beautiful, pretty far down from the 2005/early 06 hype photos.
