The old beggar woman in the market district has an old womans voice plus an accent. When you ask about rumors she sounds like a young woman without an accent.

after playing the game for a few weeks, I've found no fewer than three of these mess ups. I have to say it actually makes the game more fun. They're kinda like bloopers.

Yeah, bloopers in a game make it more interesting, I think. Like that one time back when I was playing Lego Racers (This was a long time ago!!!) and I found the exact spot where you could go behind the wall and skip a huge chunck of the track...
