Black Mesa Source is a remake of HL1 on Source engine where they are going through room by room and redoing the graphics unlike hl1 source which doesn't look much like hl2 but more like unreal. was wondering if anyone knew much about this or when its due to be out or if its out yet.

Yeah, I've known about this for awhile. Its on a "it'll be done when it's done" deadline, so we'll have to wait some more. They have had alot of hacking attacks for some unknown reason, damn script kiddies, so thats why the front end (i.e. the website) looks like nothings going on, but they are still chugging away at it.

Looks near(ish) to being done though

its definetely a good idea, but that thing has just been floating around forever. I think alot of people have just forgotten about it and it kinda lost some of its steam. I still think its cool, and might check it out if its released in the near future.
