So i know Bethesda ( i know thats wrong) isnt planning on make oblivion multiplayer...but i think i saw somewhere where someone had tried it but never finished it...cant remember where. what do you guys think about this? will it ever happen? How many people are willing to undertake this project?

Fully functional Oblivion multiplayer will never happen. Even when functional, it will always be buggy, incomplete, or some combination of the two.

i would really like to see the day when you could play a game like oblivion online with a friend or group of friend all in the same world working towards one common goal.

I too have seen this mod. I don't think that it will ever be popular though. Until Bethesda actually decides to implement multiplayer officially. Any other attempt will fail. But it would be cool to play oblivion with other people.

Seems this mod has certainly died a death.. it would have been very cool.

I read on that forum of some guys who were going to try and pick it back up but i havent seen anything since...

I just can't see any mod like this being successful. Without the support of the developer, there is just too much involved for it to work properly.

Think of all the time that was put into the single player portion of Oblivion and then remember the number of small glitches or bugs throughout the game. Then imagine a multiplayer mod of that game.

this is very true...the game is still buggy as crap. but could it not turn into something like linux where everyone works on it and get something working good?

i got bored with oblivion after awhile, now that i am not 12 anymore and i cant invest 12 strait hours to playing vids every day- i need a game with instant gratification. say BF2142
