Anyone know if Ubisoft has "dumbed" this game down enough to work on my Radeon 9800 pro? I can't find any such info. On the box it says the cards that are known to be compatible, unfortunately I can't afford any of them right now.

Your card must have SM3.0 support to work with SCDA.
In other words, no your 9800pro cannot run SCDA.
A quick google search could've told you that.

But then again, while I findly a perfectly good game, most people don't like it, so if you have a spare $10, order Chaos Theory off Amazon.

SPDA Is a really fun game.
But I have to tell you that you are better off playing it on console.
The PC version is a rushed out buggy game.
There are missions you cannot even complete because of bugs.
There is even missions when after loading a map the game crashes.
Exemple there is this place you need to get some blueprints out of a safe.
When I try to open the safe whatever I press it wont do anything.
The only way I could open the safe is a guy comes takes the blue prints away leaves the safe open while he shows his comrade, thats when i go in the safe and for some reason even thought he blue prints arent in the safe I can still take pictures of it.
I tell you the PC version is bad IMO

There's some bugs on the 360 version as well. Not as bad as the PC, that's for sure. Worth a rent at the very least.

I would know about the situation of SCDA bugswise because I've been a frequent poster on the Ubi forums ever since the release of Raven Shield (<3), and I will say that there are a shitload of people complaining about bugs, but personally I think its the loud minority that's complaining about it.

Gamespy also complains about bugs. However, it seems like most reviews don't seem to mention much about bugs, I guess it really depends on your setup. I haven't played it yet, but hopefully they'll have some patches that fix the problems you're having.

I agree, there are a lot of bugs in the PC version that you won't experience if you're playing the Xbox360 version (although I didn't experience too much problems through out the whole game).

I highly recommend this game, it is a great game and it looks amazing as well.
