Mario and Sonic are to appear in the same game.

years ago, that poster would have had Mario shoving a sawed off shotgun into Sonics mouth

i remember the saturday morning cartoon... especially the episode where tails got hold of some bubble gum that made him as fast as sonic... something about the bad guys wanting to make sonic and tails not be friends lol! give sonic the gum! or maybe sonic could just roll over mario

Mario would win the jumping/throwing contests hands down.

hurdles will be close as sonic can flip over everythign and just keep doing it, while mario has to run/jump at the same time. but hes fast about it so it'll be close. Mario def wins teh throwing/ long jump. mario probably wins the decathlon. sonic gets teh spring cuz he'll jsut spin in place till the gun goes off and shoot off at full speed to start. Mario has that 3 second acceleration. mario wins swimming because he can breath underwater and sonic needs to get air bubbles. basketball I think sonic wins that one, I think 2v2 with luigi/mario vs sonic/tails sonic/tails wins the bball game. However hell may have frozen over though. Not sure i like having both of them in one game seems to odd.

Well I think the deciding factor in this will be wheter or not the officials clear the field of mushrooms...you know how much those plumbers like their 'shrooms; they really do make you run faster and jump higher (you can even fly and shoot fireballs if you eat a good one).

i thought it was some crazy lookng flower that made them shoot fireballs.
