SAN FRANCISCO — August 12, 2008 — The PC Gaming Alliance today announced its upcoming presentation at NVISION 08 in San Jose, Calif. on Monday, August 25. Randy Stude, President of the PCGA and head of Intel’s gaming strategy department, will present the contents of the first-ever PC gaming “Horizons” research report, as well as shine a light on challenges for the industry, from PC game platform promotion to creating a standardized minimum system requirement.
The presentation, which will take place at the San Jose Hilton adjacent to the San Jose Convention Center at 3:30 p.m. PST in San Carlos rooms 1 & 2, is open to game developers, game publishers, game tool providers, online game distributors, retailers, e-tailers, members of the media, and all other parties interested in the PC gaming industry. Attendees will walk away with a greater understanding of the current market and how the PCGA’s deep pool of internal resources and information could help their company push into the future along with the evolving PC gaming marketplace.
For those who won’t be attending NVISION, you’ll be able to attend the State of the PC Gaming Industry session during Games Convention Developer’s Conference in Leipzig, Germany on August 19 at 2:30 p.m. CEST in Room F, Community Floor, Level 0 of the Administration Centre.
