Kirkland, WA – July 14, 2009 – Bocada, Inc., the leading provider of data protection management software, today announced the latest version of its flagship product, Bocada Enterprise 5.4. New features in this release provide even greater visibility into backup policy configuration, enabling customers to more effectively deliver data protection services.
Customers will immediately lower administrative costs and drive backup success with the new advanced Policy and Client Configuration reporting in Bocada Enterprise 5.4. Automated, in-depth policy reporting for multiple backup applications has never been available, requiring users to manually gather policy information required to streamline operations and guarantee compliance. This Bocada release will for the first time eliminate that requirement, and when used in conjunction with other key Bocada Enterprise reports such as Occupancy Trending, the ability to easily review and subsequently modify policies can result in reduced total cost of ownership.
Regular policy review is one of the key best practice processes recommended in the Bocada Data Protection Service Management model. With Bocada Enterprise 5.4, users can quickly view the various policies that have been created on all of their servers and review client policy configurations.
