Anand Lal Shimpi, editor-in-chief and CEO of AnandTech.com and author of the article, wrote, “The Vertex 2 did not disappoint. In a variety of other tests by Mr. Shimpi, the OCZ Vertex 2 SSD rivaled or outperformed the X25-M G2 and other Intel SSDs. The Vertex 2 Pro proved to be 6% faster than the X25-M G2 in the overall PCMark Vantage test, and it was 12% faster in the HDD specific suite.
