Synology® Added Five New Featured Apps and Supported Three New PHP Apps Versions
Taipei, Taiwan—April 29, 2011—Synology® Inc. today launched that its DiskStation lineup works with five new open source PHP applications, expanding the number of verified applications to thirty-three in total. The five new value applications are Atutor 1.6.4, eTicket 1.7.3, osTicket 1.6.0, Vanilla 1.1.10, and ZenPHOTO 1.4.0.3.

Atutor 1.6.4 is an e-Learning management tool.

eTicket 1.7.3 is a PHP-based electronic support ticket system.

osTicket 1.6.0 is an open source support ticket system.

Vanilla 1.1.10 is an open source discussion forum.

ZenPHOTO 1.4.0.3 is a web gallery management system.

In addition, DiskStation works with the new versions of three open source PHP applications, including Moodle 1.9.11, Wordpress 3.1, and Drupal 7. DiskStation users can now fully utilize the new features and enhancements available in these PHP applications.

All of the above featured applications have successfully passed a series of tests in the Synology laboratory and have been proven to be compatible with DiskStation Manager 3.1-1605 operating system.
