Motorola Mobility and Nextel Introduce Motorola TITANIUM – Nextel’s New Smartradio

MEXICO CITY – August 10, 2011 – Motorola Mobility and Nextel Mexico unveiled the most powerful device in their joint portfolio – the new Motorola TITANIUM, a unique device combining Android-based features, touch screen display, QWERTY keyboard, Nextel Email capability, and the exclusive Nextel radio functionality.

The new Motorola TITANIUM provides users with unlimited options for easy and timely communication, including key Android features and over 250,000 downloadable applications from Android Market™, including popular WhatsApp Messenger, as well as all your favorite social networking apps, such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, games, productivity tools, and Internet access, among others. It also features an ergonomic QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch touch screen display, thus making it easier for users to browse and view applications and documents, while offering simplified intuitive typing.

Motorola TITANIUM also features a 5-megapixel camera with video capture, flash, autofocus, and 4x digital zoom; stereo Bluetooth®; GPS-based browsing; 8GB memory card included (expandable up to 32 GB); 1820 mAh li-ion battery; and Google Mobile services such as Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps with navigation, and Google Calendar-based synchronization.

Motorola TITANIUM also includes the powerful Nextel Email business application, enabling users to send/receive corporate e-mail messages using PUSH technology, making communication much more efficient and rapid, while enhancing response capability and productivity levels. This email client supports calendar and contacts synchronization with Microsoft Exchange server.
