BenQ Teams Up with ZOWIE GEAR to Show Support for Female Gamers as the official gaming monitor sponsor of ZOWIE DIVINA 2011

Taipei, Taiwan, November 11th, 2011 – BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of digital lifestyle innovations and LED monitor expert, announced its extended partnership with ZOWIE GEAR, an innovative manufacturer of competitive gaming gear, as a sponsor of ZOWIE DIVINA International Invitational today. BenQ and ZOWIE GEAR have been co-developing professional gaming monitors together since 2010, including the newly launched RL and XL Series monitors. ZOWIE DIVINA will take place from the 11th to the 13th of November 2011 in PLU's studios in Taicang City, China where six top female gamers will compete against each other for a chance to win a share of 10.000 USD, the biggest total sum for a female gaming tournament ever given. The winner will receive 5,000 USD and a rare golden ZOWIE MiCO mouse.

The live cast of the games is co-hosted by Kelly "kellymikies" Ong and Geneviève "Livinpink" Forget. Kelly is known for her casts of significant tournaments such as GSL and ESL, as well as other popular tournaments, and Geneviève has previously casted the Iron Lady Cup, ESL qualifier games and various show matches between top NA players.

As the official gaming monitor supplier of ZOWIE DIVINA 2011 and strong supporter of female gamers, BenQ has gone out of its way to touch up the special editions of 2011 RTS hit, the RL2240H, with colors pink and blue, believing that a little color adds to the enjoyment of the game.
