February 2012, Taipei, Taiwan - BIOSTAR, the world famous manufacturer of Mainboard, Graphic
cards, Industrial computer systems and peripherals, announced a new premium-level Intel series
motherboard and AMD full range motherboards within the CeBIT 2012.
BIOSTAR offers visitors the TPOWER X79 mainboard designed for the latest high-
performance Intel Sandy Bridge-E CPUs for the Socket LGA2011. The boards integrates the
most advance Intel X79 Express chipset, featuring three PCI Express x16 slots supporting SLI
and CrossFireX configurations and are aimed at systems with extreme performance and a great
overclocking potential.
Fans of AMD will have a chance to look at the flagship BIOSTAR TA990FXE paired up
with AMD 990FX chipset and SB950 south bridge which guarantees support Socket AM3+,
including 6-core and 8-core AMD FX CPUs. The board comes with three PCI-E x16 2.0 slots
and delivers support for the most complex configurations with several graphics cards in SLI or
CrossFireX.
The up-coming Intel Z series boards, TPOWER X79 boards for Sandy Bridge-E CPUs and
TA990FXE for the 6/8-core AMD AM3+ CPUs will be introduced at BIOSTAR booth (Hall
17, No. E65) at the CeBIT 2012 which will take place in Hannover, Germany, March 6th to 10th.
Visitors will also be able to look at the graphic cards from NVIDIA and ATI.
