Thermalright Launches V-1Ultra Video Card Cooler

Post by Apoptosis »

Thermalright has officially released the ultra version of the original V-1 and rightfully named it the V-1 Ultra. This particular VGA cooler is geared toward the more extreme high end GPU’s.

Thermalright V-1Ultra Video Card Cooler Press Release
When we first released the V-1 Video card Cooler, there were many doubts and questions on how we would make it in the GPU cooling market, especially with the release of new GPU's by both ATI and NVidia.

While the V-1 was compatible with a broad range of popular video cards, we were still not compatible with some of the newer cards. The issue with the original V-1, not being able to handle the hottest and newest GPU was our major concern.

We've taken those concerns to heart and headed back to our R&D lab and guess what?? We came up with an even better solution…a solution to end all the madness, a solution to handle the newest VGA chipset in the market, a solution to quench the thirst of hardcore enthusiasts around the World because now you can over-clock your GPU to the limit without having to worry about your GPU getting burned to toast. So, what is this solution we've come up with? Well of course, it must be called the V-1 Ultra!

For this monster of a cooler, we've added a third heatpipe to maximize the transfer of heat from the GPU. It has the same basic mechanical layout as the original V-1 but with the added awesome power of cooling. V-1 Ultra, the VGA cooler of the present and the future. So go ahead, crank up that super high end VGA card of yours and over-clock it! We dare you.
