MIAMI -- Jun. 19, 2007 Alienware(R) - the leading manufacturer of high-performance desktop, notebook and professional systems - is now giving PC enthusiasts a limited-time opportunity to purchase an Alienware barebones kit featuring the company's highly popular P2 desktop chassis. The barebones kit comes in response to the large number of Alienware customers who have expressed a desire to obtain the innovative chassis by itself.

"After listening closely to their feedback, we are giving our customers the flexibility of owning the sleek and stylish Alienware desktop chassis either separately or as part of a complete Alienware desktop system, ensuring that the needs of all are met," said Marc Diana, desktop product marketing manager for Alienware. "Alienware's award-winning style has built up a legion of fans who appreciate bold, eye-catching case designs that are a stark contrast to the uninspiring industry norm."

The barebones kit consists of a P2 extended ATX desktop chassis with standard Astral Blue lighting and a 700-watt power supply unit. Available chassis colors include Saucer Silver and Space Black. In addition to its renowned design, the barebones chassis is packed with user-friendly features such as tool-less entry, easy-access front-side I/O ports and is designed for optimal airflow.

400$ for a 700W PSU and Case? Doesn't even list what fans it can take. No thanks, I'd buy a Lian Li and a good PSU.
