Re: NHL 2K8 Ships
I wonder if they made a good game this year or if they screwed the PC users yet again. Last year all we got were roster updates while console users got a new graphics engine and control scheme I was freakin pissed.
Also why do sports games come out before the season starts rather then the middle of the season? Youd think the devs could do a better job of tweaking player skills after they have a few games under their belts THIS season. Case in point is Tony Romo in Madden 08. He is terrible mostly because he was a question mark for this season since its his first real season as a starter but the dude had somethign crazy like 346 yards passing last night which is more then anyone else in the league. But its ok because according to madden 07 he is an average QB. So much for realism.
Im convinced no one will ever make a realistic hockey game. too many variables. Oh well if they got Goalies to move laterally this year then im happy and will buy it.
