SAN FRANCISCO -- Sep. 14, 2007 LucasArts today announced that the award-winning Star Wars(R): Empire at War(R) and its expansion pack, Star Wars(R) Empire at War(R): Forces of Corruption(TM), are now packaged together for the first time ever in Star Wars(R) Empire at War(R): Gold Pack. Now available at retailers nationwide for $29.99, the compilation also includes a hint book from Prima Games, plus all of the bonus content found in the Collector's Edition of Empire at War. The Gold Pack also now supports Games for Windows and is compatible with both Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Developed by Petroglyph Games, Empire at War puts the power to command an entire war for the Star Wars galaxy at your fingertips, with battles focused on action-packed combat rather than tedious resource gathering. Set a few years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, Empire at War lets players wage war on ground and in space, as well as experience the creation of the Rebel Alliance, the strengthening of the Empire, and the beginnings of the Galactic Civil War.
As mastermind Tyber Zann in Forces of Corruption (also developed by Petroglyph), you'll stop at nothing as you seek to become the most notorious criminal leader since Jabba the Hutt.
