On Nov. 11, 2004, MSN released a global beta of the improved MSN Search service in 26 markets and 11 languages worldwide.2 The beta version, which features a Microsoft-built search engine, represents a milestone in the development of a comprehensive MSN Search service that moves search beyond its current limited offerings to delivering answers faster and providing consumers with more control over their search experience.

tried it... looks to perform just like google... but then again, why change a good thing?.. I expect that I will continue to use google unless someone points out a reason to change.

Thats what alot of people said about yahoo!, Yahoo! used to be my default search until i found google, and before that it was altavista. so people do change, but MS would have to do an amazing job on their search. because as we all know MS makes the "best, bug free" products out there. O ya forgot to add dont for get that YOU will have to patch your system because of a msn search security flaw, just watch...
