Photobucket Adds New Features to Enhance User Experience and Creativity

Site Enhancements Include Bulk Photo Uploader, Advanced Security Settings, Adobe Remix Upgrade and New Home Page
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Sep. 24, 2007 Photobucket, one of the Web's most popular hubs for managing media, today announced several key enhancements to its service, making it even easier to create and share more personal digital content. Many of these enhancements are in direct response to user feedback, reflecting Photobucket's commitment to engaging with its community. The main enhancements include:
-- Private vs. Public Viewing -- This feature will be available to Photobucket Pro users. It enables users to specify which albums to make publicly available and which to remain password protected; Owners can give access to private albums using an owner-selected "guest" password. Photobucket albums can contain thousands of images and hours of video for free. A simple link to any piece of media in an album can allow a Photobucket user to share their photos and videos without sending huge files over email.

-- Bulk Photo Uploader -- This new application allows users to easily drag and drop and upload up to 100 images at a time, greatly reducing the time it takes to get their content online. Photobucket users currently upload over 7 million photos per day to Photobucket.

-- Enhanced Adobe(R) Premiere(R) Express -- The Adobe Web-based video remix and editing technology, branded as Adobe Remix on Photobucket, allows users to combine images, videos, text and music to create personalized videos or mashups of content with music soundtracks. Photobucket worked with Adobe on the enhancements allowing users to infuse an image or video with creative flair by simultaneously adding accessories such as hats, titles, thought bubbles as well as per scene borders. The service also offers new libraries of built-in clip-art, new music selections, and a handy Work Auto-Save feature. With a simple drag and drop interface, Adobe Premiere Express allows anyone to make and share Flash-based movies with minimal effort.

-- Redesigned Home page -- Photobucket's new home page has been redesigned to feature even more user-generated media, showcasing more photos and videos from users in a prominent position on the site.

"Our users love spending time on the site, so we're always striving to give them the best tools for the job," said Alex Welch, president of Photobucket. "These new features are all designed to make it even easier to create and share more on the Web, so users can continue to express themselves. A big part of my job is listening to what our users really want, and their input helps shape the continued development of the Photobucket experience."
