This is a very interesting PR that I got today...

So basically we are going to get NFORCE chipsets for Intel processors!!

I can only begin to imagine the advantages incorperating the nForce's DASP (Dynamic Adaptive Speculative Preprocessor) will have on Intel's high FSB speeds? PAT seemed to be a technology which affected latency, whereas DASP is sort of a "Pre-fetch" or even an additional cache for the NB. I imagine this may do well for Intel as it hasn't implemented an on-die MCH as yet. While I believe the idea of on-die cache is probably superior to current technology, I still believe it's troublesome.

In my opinion it's the reason the A64 runs as hot as it does despite those whom feel the chip is relatively cool running compared to the Prescott core. A geat deal of the processor's work-load is occupied by the on-die MCH, as well as much of it's real-estate. While the latencies are far superior in their boosting of graphic performance over that iof Intel, where multitasking is concerned the P4's Hyperthreading, and high frequencies trounce AMD in all around performance.

I guess now Intel users can experience the buggy Nvidia chipsets

Intel's CPUs are running hotter than AMD's that is one of the main reasons Intel is going BTX.
