The U6S mocha brown high-shine cover, Voile, borrows its name from an equally delicate luminous fabric. The cover is fabricated with a 13-step process with underlying shimmering fiber to ensure timeless shine. The elegant white U6E with piano paint finish stands out with equal flair. The leather bound palm rest adds softness to bring a personalized computing experience. The streamlined hinge bears hotkeys with exquisite detailing that are ergonomically placed for easy access and minimum distraction.
Ultra Slim Mobility with Wireless Communication
The U6 series adopts a special LED backlight panel that is half the width of and 1/3 lighter than the traditional LCD panel. It operates with lowers power consumption and offers better luminance for an immersive visual experience. A built-in webcam allows instant high-resolution face to face communication without the hassle of external connections. For hands free access, the exclusive ASUS SmartLogon software intelligently recognizes its rightful owner and grants access to the computer accordingly after a positive facial scan.
Seamless Security
To give business travellers peace of mind, the U6 series features safeguards that combine high-level security with ease of use. The fingerprint authentication ensures security from unauthorized access with the convenience of a finger swipe. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encrypts data, password and system log for added security. In addition, ASUS CopyProtect prevents unauthorized reproduction of data stored on the local hard drive, ensuring information exclusivity.
