Maybe they need high system specs to keep the music in sinc with the fretboard. I bet the game would suck if those 2 were out of sinc because of a poor system.

EDIT: ...oh yeah... GETTIN' IT!

Got it today, 'tis very nice to come from the PS2 with aliasing killing my face, to native res on my PC ^_^

It loads songs so quick I can't read the witty comments on the loading screens!

I think I shall have to get a PS2 to USB converter so I can use my other PS2 Guitar with the PC version too.

It's only a matter of time before it gets hacked.

I have it too, and the requirements are because of the loads of special effects that all end up on the screen at the same time. Any decrease in FPS will kill your rhythm.

I am on medium, and can't beat the last boss.

Yeah i've noticed it seems to be vsynced to 60/30fps, and whenever it drops slightly below 60 it stutters all the way down to 30fps and it absolutely kills me, so I turned off everything I could (not a whole lot of options, and what on earth are physics used for in this game?), and that makes me stay at 60fps. I wish they'd have gotten rid of the syncing, or at least let you turn it off, as im sure it wouldn't stutter so much if it didn't have to drop all the way down to 30fps.

Completed somewhere round 34/42 songs on hard. I now keep dying on a couple of different songs, time to crack out the practice mode methinks. Practicing fake guitar sucks :P

Dan

PS. Do you keep fluffing the battle power things? If you get them, try collecting a couple up to launch at once.

I can't collect them because I can't get them in the first place. Lou always gets a powerup before me, so I miss that one, and he has used a power up right before my chance to get one comes up.

One and raining blood are tough! I conquered One on medium though.

Keep in mind, this is the first time I have owned a guitar hero... all other instances of playing were few and far between.

Fair enough, medium was my starting point on GHII (my first GH). With enough play you'll be able to get up to playing the hard levels soon enough. Some of the really hard hard songs I have to stop and practice sections on really slow then build up to full speed gradually.
