ASUS Unveils World’s First Terabyte Notebook at CES 2008
CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW, LAS VEGAS, NV (JANUARY 3, 2008) – ASUS, worldwide leader in component and notebook PC design and manufacturing, today unveiled the world’s first one-terabyte notebook in collaboration with Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.

ASUS announced that the new Travelstar 5K500 (500 GB 2.5 Inch hard drive) from Hitachi has been integrated into the ASUS M series multimedia notebook PCs. The new ASUS M50 and M70 will ship with two of the Travelstar 5K500 to provide unprecedented storage capacity for high definition media and personal data.

As demand for entertainment on-the-go grows rapidly, ASUS consistently strives to provide consumers with the most efficient and powerful notebooks that are both practical and durable. The new M series of notebooks answers the demand for maximum storage in a small portal form factor.
