Give Dad a High-Tech Boost for Father's Day

zBoost products improve on-the-go cell signals in home, office, car
ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- May. 22, 2008 Is your Dad glued to the window or always running outside to catch an important cell phone call? If so, he is in good company. According to the zBoost "On the Go" survey, commissioned by Wi-Ex and conducted by Harris Interactive(R), 72% of cell phone owners have experienced service problems such as dropped calls (45%), poor signal reception (36%) or dead zones (34%). This Father's Day the zBoost suite of products from Wi-Ex (http://www.wi-ex.com), the leading provider of consumer cell phone signal boosters, can give Dad just the boost he needs for his special day.

The company's products - including the zBoost Car Unit, zPersonal and zBoost Dual Band - reduce dropped calls and improve signal clarity by capturing the stronger cell phone signal from the outside and amplifying the signal inside. All Wi-Ex products use patent-pending technology to protect the carrier network, support voice calls or data services and work with all phones and carriers except Nextel.

A Perfect Present for Your Dad

The average male spends over 16 hours a week in their car according to a recent CEA survey, so the zBoost Car Unit ($299) is ideal for Dad as he travels back and forth to work or runs household errands for the family. The unit extends the cell phone range up to 10 times the signal strength with no wires connected to the cell phone, allowing miles and miles of uninterrupted voice and data transmission. As a result, dropped calls are reduced or eliminated and battery life is often extended.

The zBoost zPersonal (zP) - YX300 ($169) increases signal strength and creates a personal Cell Zone(TM) for a small workspace (4-6 ft.), making it ideal for Dads who travel for business. Its compact size and easy set-up allow Dad to take his cell zone wherever he goes.

For an office or home with multiple users, Dad can try the zBoost Dual Band YX510 ($399) which works with both 800MHz and 1900MHz to increase coverage up to 2500 square feet. Dad will enjoy eliminated signal interruption for cell phones and PDAs, improved phone battery life and decreased dropped or missed calls.

Help your Dad stay connected this Father's Day with zBoost. For more information on zBoost products visit http://www.wi-ex.com.

If this thing could give me cell reception in my house I would buy one right away. We live in a valley, and I have to drive to the top of my driveway (or walk the 2 tenths of a mile) to get cell reception.
