VUE™ PERSONAL VIDEO NETWORK GOES MOBILE WITH LAUNCH OF VUEZONE iPHONE APP

Vue Users Can Watch Live Streaming Video from Anywhere in the World
SAN DIEGO (Jan. 6, 2010) — Avaak, the industry’s leader in easy-to-use video mesh networking technology, today announced that it has launched VueZone, an Apple iPhone app that allows Vue personal network users to remotely view their homes, families, friends, and businesses while on –the- go. Consumers who own a Vue personal video network system now have the ability to control their complete viewing, recording and sharing experience with the touch of a finger.

The user-friendly Vue system combines real-time remote video viewing with the accessibility of the Internet through a network of small, battery-powered wire-free cameras. The miniature cameras stream real-time video directly to the Internet, viewable on all major browsers. An innovative ultra low-power patented technology called FrameMesh™, allows the cameras to operate for up to a year without changing the battery.

The VueZone iPhone app takes the award-winning Vue personal video network to the next level of mobility and convenience, allowing users to view live footage on-the-go, as well as record footage in their personal my.VueZone.com account for later viewing. Additional capabilities of the app include a feature to take snapshots from the remote cameras, which can then be saved directly to the iPhone handset itself; and the option to take advantage of the “View All” feature that allows users to watch all of their personal cameras at once.

“With the iPhone currently penetrating 30 percent of the smartphone market share, it was only fitting to develop an app that caters to consumers who don’t always have access to a computer to check in on their homes, businesses or loved ones ,” said Gioia Messinger, founder and CEO of Avaak. “The new VueZone iPhone app makes staying connected to your everyday life easier than ever before, and we are thrilled to expand our brand with this important feature.”

The VueZone iPhone app is available for download now from the iPhone App Store in the utilities app category. The award-winning Vue personal video network is available for purchase at Amazon.com or VueZone.com for $299. The system comes with two cameras. Additional cameras can be purchased separately for $99.
