Panasonic’s 3D camcorder was leaked over company’s own site
It appears that Panasonic’s plans to launch a 3D camcorder really bear some truth as the company has itself posted a placeholder for the device itself. Looking like a traditional camcorder, the HDC-SDT750 appears like a traditional camcorder with the device to have a special conversion mount introducing stereoscopic 3D. It is expected that the camera should capture in 1080p AVCHD [H 264] at 60 FPS; however as per the frame rate, it appears that for 3D there will be drop in the same to 30 FPS.
There are expectations for SDT750K to be available for public sometime this week with the camera to likely be shipped some weeks later. It is further reported that camera will only come in black. Compared to an equivalent 2D device, the camera is expected to be available at premium pricing as has a faster image processor and 3D lens kit.
Meanwhile, it looks that Panasonic US has removed the pages from its website over which posted the info about its 3D camcorder.
