Playseat to Sponser NASCAR #8 Car at K&N Pro Series

PLAYSEAT SPONSORING #8 CAR AT NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES
REDMOND, WA (September 17, 2010) – Playseat, the premier manufacturer of gaming furniture worldwide is gearing up for the 2010 NASCAR K&N Pro Series season finale on Friday, September 24th in Dover, Delaware as the primary sponsor of the #8 car driven by Michael Cherry of Revolution Racing.
A sleek orange, black, and white Playseat logo will cover the Hood, Quarter Panels and TV Panel of the #8 Chevrolet car. Associate partners Safety Kleen, Racing Electronics, IMPACT, Sunoco will fulfill the lower front and lower rear quarters. This is Playseat’s first time sponsoring a Revolution Racing driver.
Cherry, a 21-year-old Valrico, Fla native, now residing in Statesville, N.C, began his racing career competing in BMX Motocross before switching to asphalt and joining the Driving for Diversity roster in 2008. Recent highlights include competing in the Late Model division at Greenville Pickens Speedway in 2009; seven top fives and 19 top 10s in 21 races. He is also recognized as the youngest driver, and first African-American, to compete at East Bay Raceway Park.
As noted, this paint scheme will be run for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season finale at Dover. The race will be re-capped and aired on the SPEED channel the following Thursday after [10/1].
