SXSW Opportunity This March Marks Final and Most Exciting Phase in Highly Successful, Consumer-Driven Campaign Designed to Bring High Quality, New Music to Fans
OLD LYME, Conn. – January 25, 2011: Audio specialist Sennheiser announced that the last and most exciting phase of its highly successful HearIAm campaign will take place this March during Austin's South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival. By registering and participating on HearIAm.com, music fans will have a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Austin, Texas and SXSW, in addition to gaining a unique opportunity to discover and share new music.
As part of the prize, Sennheiser will be awarding the winning music fan with an all expenses paid SXSW experience for three of his or her friends (including flights, accommodations and SXSW tickets) as well as a pair of Sennheiser headphones for each member of the winning party.
Sennheiser launched its HearIAm campaign in June of 2010 in conjunction with PickTheBand.com and Universal Republic Records. Since then, thousands of music fans have registered on the HearIAm portal ( www.heariam.com) in order to discover and share new music from hundreds of high-quality independent artists all across the Americas. The fifth and final phase of the campaign, which concludes in Austin this March, presents a unique opportunity for music fans to experience new music while becoming eligible to win outstanding prizes.

On March 18, Sennheiser will host a very special music showcase in Austin, featuring indie rock sensation The Antlers, in addition to hosting a winning band from the last phase of the HearIAm campaign. The winning fan and three of his or her guests will receive VIP access to the performance, which is being held at The Stage on Sixth -- Austin's newest and most exciting music club.
