Due to Intel 6 series chipset design error, MSI new 6 series mainboard are influenced in this case, the problem may degrade performance or not find your hardware devices on SATA ports during the period of time operating at the new Platform, but you still can run normally on MSI 6 series mainboard in provisional way.

We suggest users who have purchased MSI related products, plugging the specific SATA ports delivered by Marvell chipset, there’re some directions in the following.(ex: Big Bang Marshal & P67A-GD65)

How to use?

Plug your HDD on SATA 7 & 8 ports from Marvell SE9128 and avoid the Intel chipset issue

Plug your HDD on SATA 7 & 8 ports and power on PC

Install the Marvell driver

Restart PC , and finished
